The 5 Fairmont Concert Bands and the 2017 Marching Firebirds will present a concert this evening in Trent Arena beginning at 7pm.

Congratulations to the Marching Firebirds who had a tremendous performance at the Hamilton Invitational on Saturday, September 23rd.
The band took first place in class, overall best music, best visual, and best general effect.
The band was also named Grand Champion with the highest point total of all participating bands and qualified for the OMEA State Finals Competition later next month!
Mikayla Morris is a member of the Fairmont Volleyball team and also Eleventh Hour of the Music Department. Check her out saving the day at a recent volleyball match!
The Marching Firebirds competed with 19 bands from Ohio and Indiana on September 16 at the Bellbrook Invitational.
The band came away with awards for best music in the open class (large band division), first place overall in open class, and the overall grand champion for the highest scoring band of the day!
The band travels to Hamilton High School this Saturday for an OMEA sponsored events. The competition begins at 5:30 and the Marching Firebirds take the field at 8:00pm.
