Jennifer Fair has joined the Kettering Music team as an elementary music specialist coming from an incredibly versatile career in music. She has performed as a soprano soloist in NYC at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center as well as with a variety of regional opera companies and orchestras. She has performed internationally with all of the major cruise lines as a headline entertainer while traveling to all seven continents.
Jennifer graduated from Centerville High School and attended the University of Kentucky graduating with a Bachelor of Music Education and Master of Music in Voice. She began performing in musicals at the age of 9 at La Comedia and performed often with the former Kettering Theatre Under the Stars as well as in all of the Muse Machine musicals throughout her childhood.
Jennifer recently completed a long-term music substitute position in Centerville and has substitute taught in many districts in the Dayton area. She teaches private voice lessons, has taught music at local children’s camps and has conducted master classes at the university level. She is a member of the Actors’ Equity Association, Ohio Arts Presenters Network, Ohio Music Educators Association and the National Federation for Music Educators. Jennifer currently serves as a trustee for the Montgomery County Arts and Cultural District.
Jenifer will serve on the faculties of Orchard Park Elementary and Kettering Middle School with the support of principals Micki Ambrose, Brian Snyder and Music Coordinator Michael Berning.
