Donations to the Fairmont Band Program are being accepted in honor of George Bayless Jr. George was a proud member of the Fairmont band as a horn player, lifelong supporter of the arts, and Kettering School Board Member. He was inducted into the Fairmont Performing Arts Hall of Fame in the inaugural class of 2021.

Welcome Riley Bivens to the Kettering Music Team!
Mr. Riley Bivens will join the Kettering Music Team ithis fall as the elementary music specialist at J.E.Prass elementary school. Mr. Bivens will be supported by principal Jennifer Paxson and music coordinator Michael Berning.
Riley Bivens graduated from Capital University in 2017 with a degree in music education. He has completed 5 years teaching K-6 general music as well as beginning band,orchestra, and choir in Springfield City Schools. Riley Believes that music is cooperative, creative, and fun and values helping students develop into better people as well as musicians. When he is not in the classroom; Riley enjoys playing tennis with his father, lifting weights, and playing Dungeons and Dragons with his friends. Riley is humbled and honored to begin his journey at Kettering and looks forward to working with such a wonderful music department.
