The Carillon Park Concert Band is the evolution of summer concert bands for Dayton area students that trace their history back to the original NCR Band. The NCR Band was founded by Clark Haines in 1945 and played a series of summer concerts at Old River Park.
The current band is under the sponsorship of Dayton History and is directed by Bryce Newton with assistance from Brandon Schick and Kaitie Welch.
