Welcome Mr. Brandon Schick

   Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Mr. Schick is a 2008 graduate of Kings High School. After graduation, Mr. Schick pursued a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Miami University, which he completed in 2012. Mr. Schick was involved in a number of ensembles while at Miami and spent two summers performing with the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps. In December of 2017, Mr. Schick furthered his education by earning his Master of Education degree in Special Education from Miami University.

     Mr. Schick’s professional experience includes two years teaching elementary general music for Huber Heights City Schools and four years as a band director for West Carrollton City Schools. As a horn player, Mr. Schick performs regularly with the Fairhaven Church orchestra and various ensembles in the surrounding area. In his free time, Mr. Schick enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and son. 

Mr. Schick’s responsibilities will include teaching band classes at Van Buren Middle School, Fairmont High School, and assisting with the Marching Firebirds.
