Maestro Neal Gittleman spent some time this week with Kettering Music students in the Fairmont Wind Symphony. 36 student musicians will be performing with the Dayton Philharmonic in the finale to Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture on January 29, 2020 in the Fairmont Auditorium.
The performance is part of the Dayton Philharmonic’s concert titled “The Music of War, Protest, and Revolution” The wind symphony students enjoyed the rehearsal and are eager to perform with the orchestra for nearly 900 fellow music students. Mr. Gittleman was very complimentary of the students and their musicianship and preparation.
